To tie a half windsor knot, you should start with wide end of your tie on your right and have it hanging roughly a foot lower than the narrow end of your tie does.			The first stage of the half windsor knot is to cross the wide end of your tie over narrow the narrow end and turn the wide end back underneath.

Bring the wide end of your tie up and turn it down through the loop you have created.			Pass the wide end of your tie around the front of your tie from left to right.
